Job summary

Hunt Electric, LLC. is seeking a full-time Journeyman Electrician to join our electrical division serving the St. George area.

This role requires travel to various work site locations and the ability to adapt to codes, regulations, and safety requirements. You will plan, design, organize, and execute electrical construction projects, read blueprints, install components, and mentor apprentices. Candidates must hold a state Journeyman license, be willing to travel up to 100% of the time, pass

Qualifications

• Active journeyman license (state)
• Willing to travel 50–100% of the time
• Pass background check, drug screen, and functional capacity test
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Have all tools for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, organize and execute electrical construction projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Install electrical components and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues.
• Mentor apprentice electricians on the jobsite.
• Travel to various work sites as required.

Job description

Hunt Electric, LLC. is searching for a full-time Journeyman Electrician to join our team within our electrical division. We currently have minimal work in the ST George area. You will be expected to travel to various work site locations.

In the position of Journeyman Electrician, you would be responsible for planning, design, organization, and execution of electrical construction projects with the ability to adapt to changing codes, regulations, and safety requirements.

Major Duties

• Relevant experience in commercial and residential electrical.


• Ability to lift up to 100lbs.


• Can read and understand blueprints well.


• Can bend up to 1 1/2" conduit.


• Install electrical components and equipment.


• Be able to work independently.


• Effectively and efficiently diagnose and repair electrical issues.


• Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a Can-Do positive attitude.


• Ability to mentor apprentice electricians on the jobsite.


• Actively contributes to a positive team environment.


• Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.


• Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have an active state Journeyman license.


• Must be willing to work out of town 50%-100% of the time.


• Ability to pass a background check, drug and functional capacity test.


• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.


• Have all tools for the trade.
