Job Summary

Loenbro is looking for Journeyman Electricians in the Nashville, TN area. This is a project position for candidates who have a passion for safety, an initiative-taker, and who have experience in a heavy commercial and industrial environment. The Journeyman Electrician will work independently or as part of a team which will be responsible for the installation, start-up, troubleshooting, commissioning, and servicing of industrial equipment and systems.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Capable of reading and understanding overview drawings, one-line drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to lay out conduit, cable tray, and overall jobsite installations.
  • Work with and train apprentices on the job.
  • Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints; conducting tests; resolving problems.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum Journeyman Skill level experience in commercial or industrial electrical system
  • Must be dependable, work hard and willing to put in the hours needed.
  • Must be willing to submit to pre-employment screening, including criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Basic computer knowledge
Work Environment
  • Outside most of the time.
  • Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures
  • Limited working surfaces
  • Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
  • Exposure to areas with limited visibility
  • Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
  • Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks
  • If driving is required, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurability is required. All drivers are subject to a DMV background records search.
