EMCOR Group is seeking an Electrical Journeyman for field-based work supporting our oil, gas, and industrial projects. You will communicate with the Superintendent and site team to ensure high-quality, compliant electrical installations while meeting project timelines.

The role requires on-site presence, travel as needed, and flexibility to work varied hours. Candidates should have a valid state journeyman license and multiple years of electrical experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid journeyman license per state requirements.
• Minimum of 4 years electrical service experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Ability to understand and explain schematics and technical manuals.
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conform to company and customer safety procedures.
• Participate in project safety meetings.
• Complete projects on time and within scope.
• Collaborate with the customer project lead as necessary.
• Attend daily Jobsite communications with team.
• Maintain required crew productivity levels.
• Coordinate project requirements as needed.
• Provide call-out support when required.
• Address miscellaneous project-specific requests.

About Us

We are an automation and electrical integrator providing services to the oil and gas, industrial, and related industries. Our expertise covers virtually all facets of electrical contracting for the upstream oil and gas industries, including specialty expertise in new well sites and production facility electrification.

Job Summary

The Electrical Journeyman role will be field based making sure that NES is building a high quality, customer friendly, top of the line package. This role will be in direct communication with Superintendent, both internally and externally. However, the Electrical Journeyman will maintain constant communication with their immediate employees to guarantee project needs are met. As a member of the NES Team, the Electrical Journeyman will serve as an accountable party in ensuring projects are completed properly and in a timely manner along with meeting local and national electrical codes.

• DEMONSTRATE WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF ELECTRICAL CODES
• POSSESS THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND AND EXPLAIN SCHEMATICS AND TECHNICAL MANUALS
• ABILITY TO TRAVEL
• ABILITY TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS INCLUDING NIGHTS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS
• TWO-YEAR OR TRADE DEGREE IN RELATED FIELD PREFERRED
