Job summary

Benmar Electric, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join a growing Texas-based team working on major commercial, industrial, and government projects. You will install, repair, and maintain electrical systems while following NEC standards and ensuring code compliance.

You will read blueprints, interpret schematics, and mentor apprentices on active sites, traveling across Texas as required. This role offers competitive pay and opportunities for career growth in a leading electrical

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local electrical regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites across Texas.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on large-scale commercial, industrial, and government projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
• Bend and install conduit, pull wire, and terminate connections per NEC standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in the field.
• Ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical code requirements.
• Mentor apprentices and helpers on the job site.
• Coordinate with foremen and project managers to maintain project timelines.
