Job summary

Citrine LLC is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our field team, supporting electrical installation, testing, and troubleshooting across multiple project sites. The role involves travel to client locations and collaboration with project and engineering staff to ensure safety and quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a current Journeyman license and hands-on experience in commercial or industrial settings, plus ability to read electrical drawings.

Description

We’re looking for a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team and support electrical work on a variety of project sites. This is a hands-on field position assisting with electrical installation, troubleshooting, testing, and other technical work under the direction of our project and engineering teams.

The Journeyman Electrician will travel to client and project sites as needed and should be comfortable working in a field environment with changing project locations and requirements. The role may also support specialized electrical services, including arc flash studies and thermographic inspections.

Requirements
  • Perform hands-on electrical work and assist with electrical installations, modifications, troubleshooting, testing, and inspections on project sites.
  • Support project teams with field electrical work, equipment installation, and related technical tasks.
  • Assist with arc flash-related field work, including collecting electrical system data and supporting field investigations as needed.
  • Perform or assist with infrared thermography and thermographic inspections of electrical equipment, as applicable.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
  • Assist with identifying and troubleshooting electrical issues in the field.
  • Work safely and follow applicable electrical codes, project requirements, and site safety procedures.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other site personnel as needed.
  • Travel to client and project sites as required.
  • Maintain a professional and safety-focused approach while working on active job sites.
  • Perform other electrical and field-related duties as needed to support project completion.
Qualifications
  • Current Journeyman Electrician license required.
  • Hands-on experience performing electrical work in commercial, industrial, or similar environments.
  • Experience with arc flash field data collection or electrical system assessments is a plus.
  • Experience with infrared thermography or thermographic inspections is a plus.
  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • Infrared Thermography certifications preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and related technical documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working on active project and job sites.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with project and engineering teams.
Background Check and Site Access
  • Candidate must successfully pass a background check, which may include verification of employment, education, and other records in accordance with state, local, and federal requirements.
  • A valid driver’s license must be possessed and maintained.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain access authorization for government and other secured facilities and sites is required.
