Job summary

FASCore Construction LLC is seeking a Journeyman Electrician for an Indiana project in Jeffersonville (Louisville area). The role involves performing electrical tasks under general supervision, interpreting drawings, and delivering high-quality control wiring and rough-in work.

Responsibilities include installing feeders, switchgear, layout, troubleshooting motors/controls, and mentoring apprentices while adhering to NFPA 70 NEC and safety policies. Outdoor work is expected.

Qualifications

• Journeyman license required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience beyond a helper level in electrical work, including control wiring and rough-in.

FASCore Construction LLC is a Texas-based engineering and construction company building advanced manufacturing facilities across the U.S. This position is for our Jeffersonville, Indiana project (Louisville area).

Position Summary

Performs all electrical tasks with general supervision. Must hold a Journeyman license, read blueprints, terminate cable, install and troubleshoot control wiring from drawings, demonstrate experience beyond an electrical helper, and be proficient in rough-in work.

Responsibilities

• Install feeders; wire and conduit sizing
• Switchgear and device installation and termination
• Layout and preparation for installation; underground layout and rough-in
• Troubleshoot motors and controls
• Fully comprehend electrical theory and NFPA 70 National Electrical Code
• Train Apprentice Electricians in the NEC, safety and company practices

Working Conditions

• Outdoor work in all weather depending on job location and season
• Carry personal tools at all times (tool belt approx. 30 lbs)
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts and catwalks at heights up to 90 ft
• Work in restricted areas (switchgear rooms, manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, attics)
• Wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, respirator when required)
• 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week; overtime and night shifts as required

Skills

• Positively identify wire colors; read and draw prints and schematics
• Bend conduit by hand; use power tools, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders and knockout punches
• Operate trenchers, backhoes and personnel lifts safely
• Operate company trucks (manual and automatic)
• Follow company safety policy, including approved work on energized circuits

Physical Requirements

• Bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel and reach overhead repeatedly
• Lift 50 lbs; climb all types of ladders; perform overhead work for full days
• Good vision (normal or corrected)
