Job summary

Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians with data center and/or industrial experience for a long-term project in the Des Moines area. Qualified candidates hold an Iowa Journeyman Electrician license or a reciprocating-state license, with proven conduit, wire pulls, terminations, and blueprints reading skills.

Valid tools and transportation required; pre-employment screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa Journeyman Electrician license or reciprocity license from a listed state.
• Data center and/or industrial electrical experience preferred.
• Minimum two years of relevant commercial/industrial/mission-critical experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, installing power distribution equipment, and working around energized systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on data center and industrial projects.
• Bend and install EMT and rigid conduit.
• Pull wire and install conduit systems.
• Install panels, switchgear, lighting, and electrical devices.
• Build and terminate circuits per NEC standards.
• Read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Perform rough-in and finish work.
• Maintain a safe and productive job site.

Pay: Up to $64.00/hour DOE + $175 Per Diem for Qualified Travelers

Position Overview

Great Basin Staffing LLC is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians with data center and/or industrial experience for a long-term project in the Des Moines area.

Candidates must possess an active Iowa Journeyman Electrician license or a Journeyman license from a reciprocating state: (AK, AR, CO, MN, MT, NE, NH, ND, OK, SD, TX, or WI)

We are looking for licensed electricians with experience in data centers, industrial facilities, or large-scale commercial projects who are proficient in conduit installation, wire pulls, terminations, and electrical systems. Experience reading blueprints, installing power distribution equipment, and working safely around energized systems is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Active Iowa Journeyman Electrician License or qualifying Journeyman license from a reciprocating state
• Data center and/or industrial electrical experience strongly preferred
• Minimum two years of commercial, industrial, or mission-critical electrical experience
• Experience with conduit installation, wire pulls, and terminations
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
• Must have basic hand tools and cordless drill
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening
