Job summary

We Power America in Benton City, MO, is seeking a Commercial and Industrial Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in demanding commercial and industrial environments. You will interpret blueprints, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will perform upgrades, read schematics, and collaborate with engineers and other trades to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including wiring, panels, circuits, motors, and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, using tools and techniques to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
• Ensure work adheres to local, state, and federal electrical codes, safety standards, and building regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations and upgrades.
• Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems to improve performance or meet new requirements.
• Follow strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with other contractors, engineers, and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.

• Safety Protocols: Adhere to strict safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures, to ensure the safety of the work environment. Collaboration: Work closely with other contractors, engineers, and team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency.
