Job summary

PacifiCorp is seeking a District Lineman to perform Journeyman duties and oversee a service area, reporting to the Operations Manager. The role combines field construction, maintenance of distribution and transmission lines, and leadership when a crew is present.

The position requires a Journeyman Lineman certification or UWUA 127, formal training, a valid Class A CDL, and the ability to represent the company in customer relations within the local service area. Primary location: Thermopolis, WY.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Lineman certification or UWUA 127.
• Completion of formal Journeyman Lineman training.
• Ability to pass board review of skills and experience.
• Hot stick training and experience required.
• Own or obtain a Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain distribution and transmission lines and related equipment.
• Install, remove and read meters and metering devices.
• Investigate and resolve customer service complaints including radio interference.
• Collect delinquent accounts.
• Provide directions on work for other team members.
• Serve as working foreman when assisting other crews.
