Job summary

PCI Government Services LLC, affiliates of PCI Federal Services, is seeking a Journeyman Data Analyst to support DoD and private sector customers in Huntsville, AL. This role emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and data integrity with flexibility for remote work opportunities.

Applicants should have an undergraduate degree and 4+ years in data analysis with SQL, Power BI, and data visualization tools, plus the ability to produce written analyses and recommendations for technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in computer science or information management and 4 years of analytical experience.

Journeyman Data Analyst

Overview:

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and analyze statistics and trends.
• Uses various query software tools to produce finished reports, statistics, and/or graphic information reflective of the subject matter.
• Analyze and evaluate data extracted for the purposes of quality assurance, quality control, and data integrity.
• Prepare procedures manuals, user guides, and technical documentation, to include but not limited to, report development documentation.
• Prepare written analyses and recommendations.
• Develop new reporting tools, views, and interfaces.
• Train users in new applications, reporting tools or system features.
• Maintain daily work reports.

Qualifications:

• This position requires employees to be located in the Huntsville, AL area in order to report to work on-site at Redstone Arsenal.
• Must have an active Secret security clearance.
• Must have an undergraduate degree, preferably in computer science or information management, and 4 years of progressively more responsible experience in a professional analytical occupation working with relational databases for the purposes of data extraction.
• Have experience with Power Query and Power BI. Experience with Army Vantage or Palantir preferred.
• Be proficient in extracting data from relational databases using various query software tools, graphic displays for data presentation, database tools, and spreadsheet software.
• Be proficient in creating data visualizations, data cleaning and preparation.
• Be proficient and experienced using SQL, T-SQL, and Microsoft Access.
• Experience using HTML, ASP, and Visual Basic.
• Able to produce finished reports containing analyses, graphics, and recommendations.
• Have excellent data analysis skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Have excellent written and effective oral communication skills.
