Job summary

Corvus Consulting, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Communications and Collaboration Specialist to provide high‑impact support to DAMO‑SO through the development of strategic communication products and the facilitation of collaboration across a wide range of mission partners.

This role plays a vital part in shaping and synchronizing efforts related to compartmentalized, sensitive, and non‑kinetic activities within the Army and broader Department of Defense (DoD).

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting communications in a DoD or Army environment.
  • Ability to travel in support of DAMO-SOW requirements (required).

Responsibilities

  • Develop communication products, including briefings and reports, to support DAMO-SO operations.
  • Facilitate collaboration within ARSTAF and external organizations to integrate non-kinetic activities with ACP objectives and MDO tenets.
  • Schedule meetings, disseminate agendas, and manage contact lists for DAMO-SO events.
  • Research inquiries from Congress and prepare draft responses on non-kinetic activities.
  • Support DAMO-SO projects, studies, and working groups within its portfolio.

Job description

Corvus Consulting, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Communications and Collaboration Specialist to provide high‑impact support to DAMO‑SO through the development of strategic communication products and the facilitation of collaboration across a wide range of mission partners. This role plays a vital part in shaping and synchronizing efforts related to compartmentalized, sensitive, and non‑kinetic activities within the Army and broader Department of Defense (DoD).

The ideal candidate will work closely with OSD, the Joint Staff, HQDA, and external organizations to inform and influence strategies, policies, and operational initiatives. This position supports mission readiness by delivering clear, timely, and actionable communication outputs and ensuring consistent engagement across distributed stakeholders.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to complex, mission‑critical efforts that directly support national defense objectives. The selected candidate will help drive unity of effort across high‑visibility programs, providing communication expertise that enhances situational awareness, decision‑making, and operational integration across the enterprise.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop communication products, including briefings and reports, to support DAMO-SO operations.
  • Facilitate collaboration within ARSTAF and external organizations to integrate non-kinetic activities with ACP objectives and MDO tenets.
  • Schedule meetings, disseminate agendas, and manage contact lists for DAMO-SO events.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Proficiency in written communication adhering to AR 25-50.
  • Strong organizational skills for scheduling and managing collaborative events.
  • Knowledge of HQDA processes and systems.
  • Skilled in developing clear and compelling communication materials.
  • Ability to work effectively in team settings.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications include:

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting communications in a DoD or Army environment.
  • Ability to travel in support of DAMO-SOW requirements (required).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Communications or a related field.
  • Familiarity with ACP and MDO objectives.
  • Experience in facilitating interagency collaboration and coordination.
