We seek candidates with over 10 years of finish carpentry experience who can perform high-quality installations and have a full complement of tools. Benefits include health insurance and a 401(k) plan with a 4% match.

• 5+ years of high-end residential experience (must be able to provide 3 references).
• Have a full complement of tools, including specialty tools for division 6.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision.
• Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Louis Ptak Construction is seeking a Journeyman Carpenters for our Subcontracting team with job sites in the Bay Area.

What you get to own

• Perform high‑quality carpentry installations, including framing, millwork (casing, baseboard, crown molding, wall, and ceiling paneling), doors, windows, siding, cabinets, and stairs.
• Ability to comprehend and interpret construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, sketches, RFI’s, and Submittals.
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision.
• Utilize hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ensure all work aligns with company quality standards and project deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Collaborate with foremen, project managers, and other trades to ensure seamless workflow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on‑site carpentry issues.
• Mentor and develop junior carpenters and apprentices.
