Louis Ptak Construction is seeking an experienced Journeyman Carpenter for our Bay Area subcontracting team. This role focuses on delivering high-end residential carpentry, including finish work and detailed millwork, across projects in California.

You will work with foremen and other trades to maintain schedule, quality, and safety standards while mentoring junior carpenters and apprentices.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of finish carpentry experience.
• 5+ years in high-end residential projects; provide 3 references.
• Own a full set of carpentry tools, including division 6 specialty tools.
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset.

• Perform high-quality carpentry installations including framing, millwork, doors, windows, siding, cabinets, and stairs.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, sketches, RFIs and submittals with accuracy.
• Measure, cut and assemble materials precisely.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively on site.
• Ensure all work meets company standards and project deadlines.
• Collaborate with foremen, PMs and other trades for smooth workflow.
• Troubleshoot on-site carpentry issues and mentor apprentices.
