Skillit is seeking skilled carpenters and concrete carpenters (journeyman+) for projects across select U.S. cities. Positions include journeymen, masters, foremen, and superintendents with drywall framing and concrete formwork experience.

Competitive pay ranges from $28 to $65+ per hour, DOE, plus PTO, medical, and retirement benefits. Emphasis on safety and detailed workmanship. Applicants should read blueprints, follow instructions, operate both power and hand tools, and lift up to 200 lbs.

Qualifications

• Journeyman+ carpentry skills with experience in framing and finishing.
• Ability to read and interpret safety regulations and project docs.
• Proficient with power and non-powered hand tools.
• Willing to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions.
• Ability to handle materials up to 200 lbs and maintain safety.
• Strong attention to detail throughout carpentry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and follow blueprints and project specs for carpentry tasks.
• Perform framing, install structures, and finish work per specs.
• Adhere to safety regulations at all times.
• Use a variety of tools, powered and non-powered, effectively and safely.
• Seek clarification as needed to ensure accurate work.
• Lift and handle materials with care and safety.
• Maintain quality workmanship with close attention to detail.
