Job summary

Skillit is seeking skilled Carpenters and Concrete Carpenters (journeyman+) for projects across multiple U.S. cities. This includes journeymen, masters, foremen and superintendents, with drywall framing and concrete formwork experience valued.

We offer flexible interview times and an easy-to-follow application process. Qualified candidates will read and interpret blueprints, perform framing, install structures, and finish carpentry with safety first.

Qualifications

• Journeyman+ carpentry skills and ability to read blueprints
• Ability to read safety regulations, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to work with power and hand tools
• Willing to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs and maintain safety
• Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and project specifications for carpentry tasks
• Perform framing, install structures, and finish carpentry work
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines at all times
• Use powered and non-powered tools safely and effectively
• Seek clarification to ensure accurate work
• Lift and handle materials with care and safety
• Maintain high-quality workmanship through attention to detail
