Job summary

Clark Construction Inc. in Kitsap County seeks a Journeyman to safely construct, install, and repair wooden structures from plans. The role requires reading blueprints, ordering materials, and maintaining quality and safety standards on site.

You will work with a team, manage tasks with supervision, and demonstrate strong math and geometry skills, attention to detail, punctuality, and a proactive attitude. Valid driver's license and Procore app familiarity are assets.

  • Frame any roof system and stair system
  • Install multiple layered trim and crown molding
  • Form complicated concrete pours
  • Understand the concept of cutting radiuses and other curves
  • Clean up all CCI jobs to the standards and requirements of CCI policy
  • Bill all project-related hours worked to the appropriate project(s)
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Description

The Journey Person is responsible for the safe construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures including, but not limited to, buildings and concrete forms. The Journey Person reads and interprets blueprints to ensure the quality and safety of the final product and to order materials needed for the project. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills are crucial qualities for this position.

  • Cordless Kit (Drill, Impact Driver, Reciprocal Saw, Circular Trim Saw)

  • 4ft Level, Finish Hammer Framing Square, String Line, Plumb-bob, 4’ Ladder

  • Drill Bit (Paddle Bits ¼” – 1 ½”)

  • 2ft Level, 6ft Level, Coping Saw, Block Plane, Quality Chisel Set, Belt Sander, Wood/Metal Files

  • Hand-Held Power Planer, Jig Saw, Palm/Orbital Sander, Clamp Set

Compensation and Benefits

This is an hourly position. The hourly range is $38-$50 DOE. Clark Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

  • Cell Stipend: You are eligible to receive a $500/year cell phone stipend, paid quarterly at the end of each quarter. You must be employed during the entire quarter to be eligible for that period.
