Qualifications

• Journeyman-level carpentry experience required.
• Strong rough and finish carpentry background.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with advanced layout and measuring techniques.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Construct building frames including floors, joists, walls, studs, and rafters.
• Read architectural drawings, site coordinates, blueprints and specs.
• Perform advanced layout with laser levels, transits, and total stations.
• Establish building lines and verify plumb, level, and spec compliance.
• Build complex concrete forms for foundations, walls, columns, and decks.
• Design freestanding and curved stairs while complying with codes.
• Install high-end finish carpentry: crown molding, baseboards, casings, cabinetry.
• Measure, cut, fit, and install materials with precision.
• Maintain quality and safety on the jobsite.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in or around Blairsville, PA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Construct building frameworks including floors, joists, walls, studs, rafters, trusses and complex roof systems
• Read and interpret architectural drawings, site coordinates, blueprints, and building specifications
• Perform advanced layout work using laser levels, transits, total stations, and other precision instruments
• Establish building lines and verify structures are plumb, level, and built to specification
• Construct and install complex concrete forms for foundations, walls, columns, and elevated parking decks
• Design and build freestanding, circular, and winding stair systems while maintaining code compliance
• Install high-end finish carpentry components including crown molding, baseboards, door and window casings, and custom cabinetry
• Measure, cut, fit, and install materials with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all jobsite safety standards
