Napleton Nissan in Aurora, IL is seeking Journeyman Technicians to join a busy, high-volume shop servicing over 100 cars per day. The technician will diagnose and repair vehicles per dealer and factory standards, helping build customer loyalty through trust and quality service.

Qualifications

• Three years minimum experience as a Journeyman Technician is required.
• Candidates should be self-starters and process-driven.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws.
• Must be 18+ to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications including brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, and A/C systems.
• Explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals as required.
• Continue updating technical skills through formal training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Keep management informed of repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
