This role requires the ability to work shifts including overtime, and to provide your own metric and standard tools. The team prioritizes safety, reliability, and efficient maintenance to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

  • Five or more years troubleshooting and repairing heavy equipment in manufacturing/auto settings.
  • Five or more years preventive/corrective maintenance of large heavy equipment (loaders, lifts, forklifts, cranes, etc.).
  • Experience using a computer for email, data entry, and document creation.
  • Experience performing minor welding repairs.
  • Experience reading electrical and hydraulic schematics or mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs.
  • Overhaul, rebuild, maintain, inspect, diagnose, and repair systems on vehicles/equipment (diesel, gasoline, transmissions, hydraulics).
  • Work with vendors to price parts, request quotes and place orders.
  • Use hand/power tools and measurement devices to repair and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Adhere to plant safety and environmental guidelines and procedures.
  • Work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
