Job summary

Modern Auto Company in Washington, MO is seeking an I-CAR Certified Auto Body / Collision Repair Technician to join our collision center team. The role offers a pay range of $28–$36 per hour with an incentive plan, at our busy GM dealership collision facility.

The ideal candidate will have I-CAR certification, proven collision repair experience, and a strong commitment to quality workmanship. Join a team that values safety, efficiency, and ongoing training in a climate-controlled shop.

Qualifications

• I-CAR certification required.
• Proven collision repair experience.
• Knowledge of modern repair procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to read estimates and repair plans.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Team-oriented with strong work ethic.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural and non-structural collision repairs.
• Repair and replace damaged body panels, frames, and components.
• Perform metal finishing, panel alignment, and fit/finish work.
• Follow OEM and I-CAR repair procedures.
• Use frame machines, measuring systems, and shop equipment safely.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as needed for repairs.
• Maintain repair quality and cycle time standards.
• Communicate with estimators and team members throughout repairs.

Modern Auto Company is seeking an I-CAR Certified Auto Body / Collision Repair Technician to join our collision center team.
