Roofingsource- in Orlando, FL is seeking a Journeyman to install and maintain low-sloped roof systems. You will read and follow installation specifications, work safely, and generate client reports on a tablet.

The role supports the Foreman with crew training and direction, requires 3+ years in roofing, and involves operating Leister welder, hot air gun, and propane torch. Join our hands-on operations team and help deliver quality roofs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in roofing or related trade preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
• Ability to operate tablets and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain low-sloped roof systems (TPO, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, EPDM); 3+ years’ experience preferred.
• Operate tools and equipment including Leister welder, hot air gun, and propane torch (preferred).
• Follow job specs, warranties, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Create client reports via tablet and use technology for communication/receipts.
• Support Foreman with communication, training, and directing crew members.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 / hour

Description

The Journeyman will perform installation and maintenance of low-sloped roof systems and membranes. Candidate will be proficient in reading and following manufacturer installation and warranty conditional specs, as well as operating within company outlined safety standards. Journeymen will creat client reports via tablet. Supports the Foreman with communication, training, and directing crew members as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain low-sloped roof systems (TPO, PVC, BUR, modified bitumen, EPDM); 3+ years’ experience preferred.
• Operate tools and equipment including Leister welder, hot air gun, and propane torch (preferred).

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Prior roofing or related trade experience is preferred but not required.
