Position Details: The Department of Communication in the College of Arts and Letters at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instructors to teach journalism courses, such as, but not limited to, reporting and writing, photojournalism, multimedia journalism, sports writing, environmental journalism, broadcast journalism and introduction to journalism.

Responsibilities include:

• Teach one or more 4-hour courses per semester.
• Create an individual syllabus with meeting times and specific assignments for students.
• Mentor students regarding their assignments.
• Manage and maintain the online grading system.

The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum of a Master's Degree in journalism or a related discipline.
• Professional experience in journalism.
• Some teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
