Astrion seeks a Joint Cyber Command and Control (JCC2) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support USCYBERCOM at Ft Eisenhower, GA. The role requires Top Secret clearance and recent OCO/DCO planning experience as an LNO.

You will provide SME-level support for JCC2 applications, train operators, and advise on mission planning, execution, and post-mission activities across JCC2 tools such as JCO, JCC2-R, MADSS, Rally. Travel as needed; US citizen; polygraph may be required.

  • Five years of recent OCO/DCO planner experience as LNO with USCYBERCOM (since 2021).
  • Two years may be substituted by time with a Combat Mission Team or Cyber Protection Team in any role.

Responsibilities

  • Provides JCC2 applications SME-level support to high-intensity Cyber-Warfighter operations.
  • Represents strategic and tactical expertise in JCC2 applications for on-site operator support; provides training and improves adoption across the community.
  • Supports JCC2 applications including JCO, JCC2-R, MADSS, Rally, ThreatHub, and others as directed.
  • Uses advanced Cyber domain knowledge to support onsite support, PMO-directed training, and capability integration with development teams.
  • Applies knowledge of Cyber Operations roles to provide strategic and tactical solutions at the speed of operation.
  • Provides input to JCC2 acquisition teams to address emerging JCWA requirements and internal planning initiatives.

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Joint Cyber Command and Control (JCC2) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Engineering, Professional, and Administrative Support Services (EPASS) contract, directly supporting the Cryptologic Systems Division and USCYBERCOM at Ft Eisenhower, GA.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Top Secret clearance; may need to obtain a polygraph.

Years of Experience: Five years of recent (since 2021) work experience as an Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO) / Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) planner as LNO with USCYBERCOM.

Experience Substitution: Two years of the experience requirement may be substituted for at least two or more years spent on a Combat Mission Team (CMT) or Cyber Protection Team (CPT) in any work role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides JCC2 applications SME-level support to high-intensity Cyber-Warfighter operations.
  • Serves as the primary representative providing strategic and tactical expertise in JCC2 applications for on-site, operator-level support across the range of cyber operations, from planning through execution to post-mission activities; provides training and improves adoption across the Cyber Operations community.
  • Supports JCC2 applications including Joint Cyber Operations (JCO), JCC2-Readiness (JCC2-R), Mission Assurance Decision Support System (MADSS), Rally, ThreatHub, and others as directed.
  • Uses advanced knowledge of the Cyber domains to support JCC2 onsite support, training as directed by the PMO, and JCC2 capability integration support to the PMO and associated development teams.
  • Applies knowledge of Cyber Operations roles and relationships to provide specific strategic and tactical solutions at the speed of operational need.
  • Provides input to JCC2 acquisition teams to address emerging requirements from the Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture (JCWA) and internally generated system planning initiatives, both short-term and long-term.
