Job summary

HII Mission Technologies seeks a United States Marine Corps Joint Continental United States Subject Matter Expert (CONUS SME) to support ANG Operational Training Support at the Des Moines, IA DTOC. You will develop and deliver advanced training for joint operational and fires-related mission sets in a distributed simulation environment.

The role requires USMC experience, five-plus years in related areas, and active DoD clearance.

Qualifications

  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field; 1 year with Masters or 7 years with HS diploma.
  • Prior United States Marine Corps (USMC) experience is required.
  • Active DoD interim secret clearance or higher is required; base access credentials must be obtainable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop training curriculum, study outlines, and orientation materials for simulation and training events.
  • Assess trainee progress, identify skill gaps, and recommend additional training.
  • Evaluate simulator design and training effectiveness against requirements.
  • Coordinate training schedules, simulator access, and engineering support.
  • Serve as USMC Joint Operations Planner and CONUS SME for ANG OTS events.
  • Provide SME in Joint Fires, C2, aviation operations, and MC mission sets.
