Job description

Location: Hurlburt Field, Florida
Earliest Start Date: October 26, 2026
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance required
Position Type: Experienced Professional – Not Entry Level

Position Summary

Summit Technologies is seeking an experienced Joint C2 Systems Integrator to support Army, Joint, and multinational command and control (C2) planning, systems integration, network architecture, and training activities. This is not an entry-level position. The successful candidate must possess strong knowledge and practical application of Army and Joint doctrine, doctrinal data products, and processes.

The Joint C2 Systems Integrator must understand the flow of data products between Army Command and Control Information Systems (AC2IS), from AC2IS to Joint systems, between brigade, division, corps, and component staff sections, and within the Joint Air Ground Integration Center (JAGIC). The candidate must understand the flow of data products between Army echelons and components, as well as the flow of data between Army/Joint C2 systems and the C2 systems of multinational coalition partners. Broad knowledge and experience configuring these systems for optimal function and operation are required.

The successful candidate will attend planning events and conferences supporting Army Warfighter and Combatant Command (COCOM) exercises. They must be able to listen for and ask the right questions to derive and compile training audience requirements that support training objectives. The candidate must translate these requirements into effective and reliable network designs, C2 configurations, Common Operational Picture (COP) configurations, and Common Tactical Picture (CTP) configurations.

Using this knowledge, the Joint C2 Systems Integrator will advise training audience planners in the C4I, Joint Air Ground Operations (JAGO), and Intelligence Systems working groups on network design, communications architectures, and system configuration. Written trip reports will be provided to AJST leadership.

The position also requires participation in Army, COCOM, and multinational coalition exercises. The candidate must be capable of performing Observer, Coach, and Trainer (OC/T) duties, providing over-the-shoulder training to systems operators, and coaching and training personnel on Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) across training audience staff sections and echelons.

The Joint C2 Systems Integrator will provide observations to the training audience and Mission Command Training Program (MCTP) OC/Ts. Outstanding verbal communication skills are essential, including the ability to communicate observations to personnel across the rank structure, from junior personnel to General Officers and senior civilian personnel. Outstanding written communication skills are also required, as observations will be documented in written After Action Reviews (AARs) for senior AJST and MCTP leadership.

The successful candidate will work closely with AJST civilian and military personnel, 505 CCW, 505 Det. 1, and Air Combat Command (ACC) personnel to develop TTPs supporting Army and Joint doctrine. The candidate will also actively participate in AJST training events.

Candidates must be knowledgeable in joint communications planning at the Operational Level of War for Army and Air Force organizations, including corps, divisions, and Air Force Air Operations Centers (AOC). Required expertise includes joint communications, COP engineering, CTP design and management, and the Theater Air-Ground System/Army Air-Ground System, including systems that automate joint deliberate and dynamic targeting.

At a minimum, candidates must possess knowledge and experience with the following systems and networks:

Army Systems:

Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS)

Tactical Airspace Integration System (TAIS)

Global Command and Control System–Army (GCCS-A)

Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE)

Air and Missile Defense Workstation (AMDWS)

Joint Air and Air Force Systems:

Air Operations Center (AOC) Weapon System Information Systems

Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS) and TBMCS applications

Global Command and Control System–Integrated Imagery and Intelligence (GCCS-I3)

Joint Targeting Toolbox (JTT)

Multinational Systems:
