Job summary

BALISE AUTO SALES INC in Johnston, RI is looking for a Full Time car wash attendant. You will greet customers, guide vehicles through the tunnel, handle payments, and help keep the facility clean and organized.

You will provide excellent service, upsell memberships, and support the detail department as needed. Applicants should be able to work in varying weather and be available for open or closing shifts.

Qualifications

• Team player with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and stay alert.
• Detail oriented and reliable.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at payment station and tunnels.
• Direct and instruct drivers into the tunnel conveyor.
• Deliver excellent service with positive interactions and answering questions.
• Manage customer accounts; update credit card information as needed, upsell memberships.
• Operate cash register and process payments for walk-ins.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace around the facility.
• Empty trash cans around vacuum site and facility.
• Maintain clean restrooms.
• Attend team meetings.
• Assist detail department as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Must be available for potential open and/or closing shifts.
• This position has the ability to earn commissions based on selling memberships.

Salary Range: $17.00 - $21.00 Hourly

Job Description

• Greet customers as they drive up to payment station and tunnels.
• Direct and instruct drivers into the tunnel conveyor.
• Deliver excellent service to all customers; positive interactions including answering questions.
• Manage customer's accounts; updating credit card information as needed, upselling, etc.
• Operate cash register and process payments inside for those customers who don’t drive up.
• Maintain a clean and organized workplace around the facility.
• Empty trash cans around Vacuum site and facility.
• Maintain clean restrooms.
• Attend team meetings.
• Assist detail department as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
• Must be available for potential open and/or closing shifts

Environmental & Physical Requirements:

• This position requires you to work in various weather conditions
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear.
• The employee may also incidentally be required to stoop, kneel and crouch, lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
