Job summary

Pacific Rail Services is hiring full‑time Rail Terminal Operators to work at the Norfolk Southern Rail Terminal in Pittsburgh, PA. No experience? No problem — we provide training to ensure success.

You will operate jockey trucks, move trailers and rails, assist crane operators, and work in a fast-paced team setting with strong pay and benefits. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour with yearly raises and potential to earn $50,000–$65,000 annually. Overtime is available; schedule varies by shift.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Live within 45 minutes of Wall, PA.
• Pass a 7-year background check and drug/physical tests.
• No diploma or GED required.
• Experience in warehouse work or truck driving (CDL or non-CDL) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate jockey trucks to move 53-foot trailers, containers, and chassis.
• Climb on/off railcars, secure tracks, and handle connectors.
• Assist crane operators using hand signals.
• Stack/unstack chassis and load/unload racks.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Pay:

• Starting at $19.50/hr.
• Annual earning potential: $50,000-$65,000.

Schedule:

• Tuesday-Friday: 5 PM - 1 AM
• Saturday: 12 PM - 8 PM
• Overtime available.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.
• Pass a 7-year background check (Felonies in the last 7 years or jail time in the last 5 years may disqualify applicants).
• Pass drug test and physical capabilities test.

• Must live within 45 minutes of Wall, PA (no relocation assistance).

Note: You will be employed by Pacific Rail Services, not the railroad.
