Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. in the New York region seeks a Jobsite Superintendent to oversee on-site construction projects alongside the Project Manager.

You will coordinate materials, supervise subcontractors, enforce safety plans, review workmanship, and maintain look-ahead schedules to ensure on-time, quality, and on-budget delivery. Travel to multiple sites within the region is required; OSHA awareness and ability to read drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of construction experience including residential construction and directing work crews.
• Ability to read drawings/prints.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a motor vehicle background check. DOT knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Project Manager for daily tasks.
• Assist in coordinating materials and ensuring on-site arrivals on time and in proper quantity.
• Direct subcontractors and maintain a look-ahead schedule.
• Review and inspect the quality of work from Champion’s factories and subcontractors.
• Create punch lists and coordinate resolution with subcontractors.
• Coordinate and resolve warranty work from Champion’s factory and subcontractors.
• Travel throughout the region to oversee various job sites.
• Perform safety inspections in accordance with Champion’s safety plan.
• Lead toolbox talks with all job site trades.
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary by the Project Manager.
