Job Summary

Builds and maintains large data pipelines to support advanced analytics and IT solutions. Identifies valuable internal and external data sources and collaborates closely with data scientists to design, develop, and deploy new analytics solutions that drive commercial priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop software that processes, cleans, and serves statistics for use by others.
• Develop large‑scale information systems and pipelines to organize, collect, and standardize records, enabling insights generation and addressing reporting needs.
• Write ETL (Extract / Transform / Load) processes, design database structures, and develop tools for real‑time and offline analytical processing.
• Develop and maintain premier statistical pipelines on the advanced analytics platform, design statistical flows, techniques, and schedules, ensuring scalability, repeatability, and security.
• Troubleshoot software and processes for data consistency and integrity.
• Integrate statistics from diverse resources, ensuring compliance with data quality and accessibility standards.
• Anticipate and prevent issues and roadblocks before they arise.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to exchange complex domain information.
• Collaborate with data scientists to prepare data for version development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Deep understanding of SQL.
• Experience developing ETL/data pipelines.
• At least two years of experience with REST API development.
• Experience establishing and maintaining key relationships with internal and external partners to ensure satisfactory requirements.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose, separate, and resolve complex enterprise issues and recommend and implement solutions.
• Experience contributing to financial decisions in an administrative context.
• At least two years of direct management, indirect leadership, or thoughtful team management.
• Willingness to travel at least 10% of the time for business functions, both within and outside the country.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience deploying Python applications.
• Experience with Azure deployment.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or Azure Event Hubs.
• At least six years of experience in data engineering and programming.
