Job summary

Ameya Global seeks a data engineer to migrate client data into our platform while ensuring HIPAA-compliant handling of PHI. You will design and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, move data into Salesforce via ADF, and implement Databricks-based transformations.

The role requires 1 year of experience and a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electronic Engineering. Travel across the United States and relocation may be required; strong encryption practices are essential.

Responsibilities

• Migrate client data into platform using import-export wizard.
• Work with PHI data and ensure HIPAA compliance through encryption.

• Move data into Salesforce objects using Azure Data Factory pipelines.
• Tune performance of stored procedures.
• Build scalable pipelines to move data from ADLS and across environments.
• Configure Databricks jobs to run pipelines and manage errors.

Job description

Job Duties: Migrate client data into platform using import-export wizard. Work with PHI data; ensure HIPAA compliance through advanced data encryption. Work with NDCs and Diagnosis codes. Develop stored procedures to populate data into business tables involving operations in ETL/ELT pipelines. Move required business data into Salesforce objects using pipelines in Azure Data Factory. Utilize Copy Activity, IF Conditions, Foreach Activity, Delta Lake, DataFlow transformations. Provide extract reports with clients as part of outbound process. Provide performance tuning of stored procedures. Utilizer Azure DevOps and Git for Agile and Version control. Utilize Databricks to move existing business logic in SQL Server to Databricks. Build scalable pipelines to move data from ADLS. Configure Databricks jobs to run pipelines and handle errors.

Work Location: Various unanticipated work locations throughout the United States; relocation may be required. Must be willing to relocate.

Education: Master – Computer Science or Electronic Engineering (will accept foreign education equivalent)
