Job summary

Themesoft Inc. is seeking an experienced contract software engineer to build and maintain Node.js and Java backends in AWS, while provisioning serverless infra with Terraform. You will develop event-driven workflows, deploy on ROSA/OpenShift, and support CI/CD pipelines.

Collaboration across teams is essential, with a focus on reliability, security, and timely delivery. Candidates should demonstrate strong Terraform/AWS skills, REST API design, and experience with containerized deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS serverless services (Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SNS, SQS, EventBridge).
• Backend development using Node.js and Java, including REST APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Experience deploying and supporting containerized applications on ROSA/OpenShift.
• Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD, automated testing, security, and observability.
• Basic exposure to GenAI services such as Amazon Bedrock is preferred.
• Understanding of IAM roles, secrets management, and secure cloud configuration.
• Experience developing reusable Terraform modules and managing remote state securely.

Responsibilities
