Job summary

FlatironDragados in Renton, WA is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality assurance across multiple projects within the district. You will plan, supervise, and monitor QA activities, driving compliance with contract specifications and regulatory requirements.

The role demands 5+ years of related experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, with ASQ/ACI credentials preferred. A solid understanding of environmental monitoring and documentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Engineering Technologist Diploma requested or preferred.
• 5+ years related experience in quality management or similar role.
• ASQ and/or ACI certification required in the US.
• Experience with environmental regulatory and construction industry compliance preferred.
• Proven leadership and strong organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees quality procedures on project sites within the District, ensuring documentation, procedures, and testing per contract specifications.
• Develops and manages quality control plans for projects in the assigned District.
• Prepares internal and external audit documentation and reports to support site quality activities and compliance.
• Assists in non-conformance reports and resolutions.
• Identifies risks on site and documents findings, evaluations, and inspections using prescribed procedures.

Overview

Are you passionate about ensuring excellence and compliance in every detail? As a Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in planning, supervising and monitoring quality assurance activities across multiple projects within a district. Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to ensure that every project meets the highest standards of quality.

What you will be doing

• Oversees quality procedures on project sites within the District, ensuring accurate documentation, procedures, and testing of required items in the contract specifications. Develops and manages quality control plans for projects in the assigned District.

• Conducts and prepares internal and external audit documentation and reporting to support project site quality activities and compliance. Assists in company non-conformance reports and resolutions.

• Identifies risks at the project site and discrepancies during daily site walks. Documents findings, evaluations, and inspections using Company-prescribed procedures and software.

• Performs system verifications on completed systems to ensure correct installation per contract design specifications.

• Documents, analyzes, and reports environmental performance to internal and external clients and regulatory bodies.

• Manages impact assessments to identify, assess, and reduce the organization’s environmental risks and financial costs, following the direction of the environmental team and procedures.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or Engineering Technologist Diploma preferred.
• 5+ year related experience preferred.
• ASQ and/or ACI required in the US.
• Canadian equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience or training in environmental regulatory and construction industry compliance preferred.
• Proven subject matter expert in testing, inspection processes and construction procedures.
• Proven leadership, coaching and mentoring ability and ownership.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to learn and grow in environmental monitoring, technical writing and documentation.

Salary Min

USD $110,000.00/Yr.

Salary Max

USD $175,000.00/Yr.
