Job summary

Willard East Heating and Cooling in Forney, TX is hiring a Plumbing Technician to install, maintain, inspect, and repair residential plumbing systems. You will diagnose problems, explain options to customers, and work to code standards while keeping records and coordinating with the service team.

We seek a candidate with 3+ years of diagnostic plumbing experience, a Journeyman license, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing, water heaters, tankless, and filtration.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Journeyman license is required.
• Ability to present repair vs replacement options clearly to customers.
• Knowledge of drain machines, camera, and locator equipment.
• Safe use and maintenance of required tools.
• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• Clean driving record and valid license.
• Basic computer skills; able to document work on an iPad.
• Fluent in English (reading/writing speaking).

Responsibilities

Who You Are

Plumbing Technicians willbe responsible forall aspects of the installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of the plumbing systems in residential homes.This includes installing and repairing sinks, water heaters, toilets, other plumbing fixtures, cleaning drains, as well as appliances including dishwashers and garbage disposals.You will accurately diagnose plumbing problems and communicate with clients the options and upgrades that increase safety and enhance the quality/health of life for homeowners.

• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick,accuraterepairs and installations

Required Qualifications

Physical Demands & Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employeeis regularly required tostand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. • Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times depending on business needs)

• Days: Monday - Friday, on call rotation
