ImageFIRST Healthcare Laundry Specialists in Minnesota is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician with experience in industrial, manufacturing, or production environments. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, ironers, and conveyors.

The role requires PLC programming, reading blueprints and schematics, and strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• High school diploma or technical training preferred.
• Manual dexterity for operating machinery and computers.
• Regular, consistent attendance on scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial laundry equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on machinery.
• Write and follow SOPs and JSAs; log maintenance activities.
• Program PLCs and diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect and replace motors, pumps, belts and related parts.
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO and OSHA.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with experience in either industrial, manufacturing or production environments to join our team!

Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 Hourly, Paid Weekly

Schedule: Monday - Friday 4:00am - 12:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironers, folders, conveyors, steam systems)
• Utilize company provided tools to perform preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial machinery
• Write, maintain, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
• Program PLC's
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Complete daily maintenance and repair logs
• Inspect, repair, and replace critical equipment components including motors, pumps, belts, bearings, and related mechanical parts
• Follow all safety procedures including LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), OSHA, and internal safety guidelines
• Strong working knowledge of industrial motor controls, including the diagnosis and repair of 480V electrical circuits
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment and complete daily maintenance repair logs
• Order tools and machinery inventory parts
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Working knowledge, education or experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Electrical systems
  • Mechanical systems
  • Hydraulic & pneumatic systems
  • PLC programming
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
• High school diploma or equivalent or technical school training preferred
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds required
• Regular, consistent attendance of scheduled shifts is required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work is conducted in a fast-paced industrial laundry and production environment, requiring the ability to work safely around operating equipment, steam systems, varying temperatures, and moderate to high noise levels
• Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds
• Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots
• This job involves comprehensive repairs of industrial equipment, to include climbing in/under, and through wash tunnels, dryers, and other industrial machines
