Job summary

Aluminum Dynamics, LLC. is seeking a Business Analyst who will also serve as Scrum Master for our Software Development team.

You will translate operational needs into sprint-ready user stories, own the Agile process, and facilitate ceremonies while removing impediments to keep the team delivering. You will learn our manufacturing processes and work with end users and developers to maintain a steady pipeline of refined work for upcoming sprints.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn complex business and manufacturing processes.
• Experience gathering and documenting business or software requirements.
• Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews).
• Comfortable working with both technical and nontechnical employees.
• Willingness to spend time with end users in office and plant-floor environments.
• Experience with Agile software development, manufacturing operations, or internally developed applications is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Convert requests into well-defined user stories with acceptance criteria, exceptions, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
• Facilitate discovery and backlog-refinement discussions throughout each sprint.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify unclear, conflicting, or duplicate requirements and potential impacts on other systems or departments.
• Create process flows, mockups, and supporting documentation when beneficial.
• Track and communicate sprint progress, velocity, and burndown to stakeholders.
• Assist with prioritization, user acceptance testing, and communication of completed changes.
