U.S. Anesthesia Partners is seeking an Accounts Receivable Representative II – RCM. Role collects AR from third-party payers, with emphasis on government and commercial plans. Position is primarily remote, but candidates must reside in the Orlando, FL area and be able to work on-site as needed.

The base pay is $16.49-$26.39 hourly, with a quarterly bonus opportunity. Final offer depends on skills and experience; bonuses are performance-based and not guaranteed.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years professional/healthcare experience preferred.
• 1-3 years Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math for reimbursements and adjustments.
• Understanding of Medical terminology.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance processing, guidelines, laws and EOBs.
• Knowledge of managed care, Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
• Data entry accuracy and speed.

Responsabilidades

• Contacts insurance companies for status on outstanding claims.
• Processes and follows up on appeals to insurance companies.
• Refiles claims as needed.
• Works correspondence daily.
• Maintains basic proficiency with MS Excel.
• Audits adjustment requests and completes when appropriate.
• Resolves manual tasks assigned to AR for follow up.
• Handles outstanding AR from assigned queues.
• Meets department productivity standards.
• Maintains 97%+ accuracy on audited accounts.
• Maintains confidentiality and SME across workflows.

Overview

The Accounts Receivable Representative II – RCM is responsible for collecting outstanding accounts receivable from third party payers, both government and commercial.

****This position is primarily remote; however, candidates must reside in the Orlando, FL area and be available to work on-site as business needs require.****

The base pay estimate for this role is $16.49 - $26.39 hourly. The final offer will depend on the skills, experience, and qualifications of the selected candidate. This range is for base pay only and does not include bonuses or other compensation. This position is eligible for a quarterly bonus. Bonuses are not guaranteed and are awarded based on company and individual performance.

Job Highlights

• Contacts insurance companies for status on outstanding claims.
• Processes and follows up on appeals to insurance companies.

• Works to become an SME across multiple workflows and various payers.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES (KSAs):

• Highschool graduate or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field of study is preferred.
• 1-3 years professional/healthcare preferred.
• 1-3 years Accounts Receivable experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written skills to maintain professionalism in all methods of communication.
• Basic math skills for calculating anesthesia units, proper reimbursement, and percentages for appropriate adjustments.
• Understanding of Medical terminology.
• Advanced knowledge of insurance processing, guidelines, laws, and EOBs.
• Knowledge of managed care, Medicare, and Medicaid guidelines.
• Data entry skills with high accuracy.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and ASA codes.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Decision making ability with sound judgement.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Skill in gathering and reporting information.
• Ability to work effectively with staff, physicians, and external customers.
• Must have a pleasant disposition and high tolerance level.
• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must be a self-motivator and goal oriented.
• Skilled in computer applications including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Teams.
• Communicated well with the public.
