ABB Optical Group in Erlanger, KY is hosting a job fair for Lab Technicians on Oct 1, 2026, from 11am-3pm. Full-time positions on first and second shifts with a $2.00 differential for second shift; training across lab areas.

Duties include operating CNC machinery, handling frames and lenses, quality control, and cross-training. Compensation ranges from $15.50 to $17.50 per hour, with benefits and 401(k); overtime opportunities apply.

• Assemble multiple types of frames using hand tools.
• Learn multiple processes for different lens types and manufacturers.
• Learn quality control process.
• Work safely and quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Learn job skills that last a lifetime and cross train in additional areas around the lab.

Lab Technicians

Full time positions needed for first shift and second shiftto fit your schedule and include a $2.00 shift differential for second shift (1:30pm-10pm)

As a Lab Technician, you will have the opportunity to train in multiple areas that fit your skill set. Some potential duties include:

• Become a machine operator and operate state of the art CNC machinery.
• Receive incoming frames and orders to start our manufacturing process.

• Assemble multiple types of frames using hand tools.

As a Full time Lab Technician, you will be eligible for:

• Pay based on experience plus up to $2 shift differential for third shift.
• 3 weeks of paid time off per year, which increases as you grow with ABB.

We have immediate Lab Technician openings for full time roles! Overtime opportunities available in most departments.

1st shift Monday-Friday 4:45am-1:15pm

2nd shift Monday-Friday 1:30pm-10pm

Compensation Range
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $15.50 to $17.50 per hour. This represents the good‑faith estimate of the compensation range at the time of posting.

Actual pay will be based on job-related factors, which may include:

• Geographic location
• Education and qualifications
• Job-related skills
• Internal equity considerations
• Applicable minimum wage laws

This position may also be eligible for a bonus and/or commission plan, subject to the terms of the applicable plan.
