Job summary

Keefe, a TKC Holdings Company, is hiring for a warehouse supervisor onsite at a jail facility. You will oversee receiving, staging, packing, and distribution of Inmate Commissary products, lead a team of warehouse workers and inmate work crews, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in food/retail, strong leadership, and ability to work around inmates. Schedule Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, onsite.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience in food, retail, or related environment.
• Experience in warehouse management and supervising warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations.
• Maintain regular client contact per plan to resolve operational concerns.
• Ensure staff training and safety compliance.
• Ensure stock on-hand meets current needs.
• Manage warehouse operations in line with procedures and regulations.
• Maintain sanitary environment per Health Dept. codes.
• Maintain onsite reports of daily and monthly activity.
• Other duties as needed.

About This Position

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm

You will plan and direct the activities associated with a warehouse and delivering product to canteens. You will supervise a team of Warehouse Workers (when applicable) and Inmate Work Crews involved in receiving, staging, packing, and distributing Inmate Commissary products. You are the onsite management representative.

This position is located onsite within a jail/correctional facility and you will work around inmates. You will report to the District Manager.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of warehouse operations.
• Initiate and maintain regular, ongoing client contact according to pre-planned schedule to help with and resolve operational concerns.
• Ensure all team members are adequately trained and able to perform job responsibilities safely and compliant.
• Ensure you have the appropriate quantities of products on-hand for current needs.
• Manage Warehouse operation in compliance with internal procedures as needed by local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Maintain a sanitary environment following food service and Health Department codes and regulations.
• Maintain accurate onsite reports of daily and monthly financial, production, productivity, and financial activity.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or Equivalent, and you must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum one (1) year of management or supervisory experience in food, retail, or related environment.
• Previous warehouse management experience.
• Experience supervising the use and operation of a variety of warehouse equipment.
• Experience with managing high-volume, operations, service, and client relations.
• Experience with safety procedures as applied to warehouse operations.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
