Job summary

Work Ready Texas is seeking a part-time Job Coach to assist high school students with mild to moderate disabilities in community-based Work Experience placements. You will support students at local employer sites, helping them learn tasks, understand expectations, and build independence.

Responsibilities include on-site support, teaching job skills, modeling professional behavior, and communicating progress to staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Completion of UNT WISE Job Skills Training (online certification).

Position Summary

Work Ready is seeking a part-time Job Coach to support high school students with mild to moderate disabilities who are participating in community-based Work Experience placements. The Job Coach assists students directly at local employer sites to help them learn job tasks, understand workplace expectations, and build independence.

Schedule

Mondays & Tuesdays

4-hour shift.

Qualifications

Required:

Preferred Experience (not required):

• Special Education, Vocational Rehabilitation, Education, Coaching, Counseling, Mental Health, Social Work, Non-Profit, or other Human Services fields.
