Job summary

University of Toledo seeks a Job Coach & PreETS Instructor for the Toledo Transition program. The role involves instructional leadership, delivering Pre-ETS content, and coordinating with the Program Administrator to ensure high-quality, compliant programming for students with disabilities.

You will support students through job coaching and classroom instruction, fostering employment readiness and independent living skills, with a focus on collaboration with campus and community partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; familiarity with OOD provider processes preferred.
• Ability to teach classroom content and support executive functioning and independent living.
• Proficiency with computer applications and data/documentation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to Toledo Transition students through job coaching.
• Deliver instruction on executive functioning, independent living, self-advocacy, and disability awareness.
• Teach Pre Employment Transition Services content and collaborate with partners.
• Coordinate with Program Administrator to align curriculum and staffing.
• Support students with routines, time management, and self-regulation skills.
• Communicate with families and community partners to ensure cohesive support.
• Maintain records, track outcomes, and prepare reports for reviews and grants.
• Assist onboarding and development of instructors and student workers.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and disability services guidelines.
