Ware Malcomb is seeking a Job Captain to support delivery of innovative design projects. You will lead project coordination with consultants and internal teams, contribute to all design phases, and provide construction administration support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Architecture required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field is required.
• Proficiency with Revit and knowledge of building codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead project coordination with consultants and internal teams across all design phases.
• Provide Revit support for preparation of project documents.
• Coordinate with design resources to develop construction documents.
• Assist Project Manager/Architect with site visits, submittals, and schedules.
• Perform project code searches and ensure compliance with codes.
• Review budgets and assist in designing project schedules.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and Ware Malcomb team members.

As a Job Captain at Ware Malcomb, you will support delivery of innovative design projects to diverse clients. You will lead project coordination with consultants and internal teams, contribute to all phases of design and provide construction administration support. You will use your technical expertise and knowledge of building codes to produce high-quality construction documents and ensure smooth project execution. You will work on a specialized team focused on some of the most complex, large‑scale advanced manufacturing projects in the world. This team partners with global technology leaders—including high‑profile semiconductor fabrication—where precision, speed, and innovation are critical. This is a full‑time, long‑term position.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project coordination with the consultant team for each phase of the project (typical; Site planning, Conceptual, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Document and Construction Administration) to deliver a set of contract documents that will be used for permits and construction
• Provide Revit support for the preparation of project documents
• Utilize the company's resource groups for design
• Preparation of design and construction documents
• Assist the Project Manager or Architect with construction services (site visits, review shop drawings, etc.)
• Perform project code searches and analysis for each project
• Assist the Project Manager or Architect in the preparation of project schedules and review of budgets
• Provide assistance for submittals for jurisdiction agencies
• Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and Ware Malcomb team members

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the field of Architecture
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field
• Revit skills
• Knowledge of Newforma
