Job summary

Building Talent is partnering with a San Francisco architecture firm to hire a Job Captain with eight or more years of professional experience. You will coordinate technical development, guide production teams, and ensure construction documents are complete and accurate.

You should be capable of independent work, resolving complex technical issues, coordinating consultants, and directing other team members. On-site in San Francisco with no relocation assistance offered.

Qualifications

• At least eight years of professional architectural experience.
• Experience supporting projects from schematic design through construction administration.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, and Bluebeam.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, building codes, and construction methods.
• Experience with consultant coordination, construction administration, and QA/QC.

We’re looking for someone who can work independently, resolve complex technical issues, coordinate consultants, and provide clear direction to other team members.

Candidates should have:

• Three to five years of experience supporting projects from schematic design through construction administration
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, 3D modeling software, and Bluebeam
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, building codes, and construction methods
• Experience with consultant coordination, construction administration, and QA/QC
• A professional degree in architecture, preferred
• Architectural licensure, preferred but not required

This is an on-site position in San Francisco. Candidates must currently reside in the San Francisco Bay Area and be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship. Relocation assistance is not available.
