This is an opportunity to work directly with experienced architects, help shape projects from design development through construction, and become a trusted technical resource on a collaborative team. The right candidate will bring strong construction documentation skills, sound design judgment, and the initiative to keep projects coordinated and moving forward.

This Role Offers
  • Competitive base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • A hands-on role with meaningful responsibility across design, documentation, coordination, and construction-phase activities.
  • Direct collaboration with licensed architects and project leadership.
  • Opportunity to build project leadership experience while actively progressing toward architectural licensure.
  • Exposure to a diverse mix of building types and project challenges.
  • An environment where technical accuracy, thoughtful design, and professional development are valued.
Focus
  • Turn design concepts into coordinated drawing packages that are clear, buildable, and ready for permitting and construction.
  • Guide day-to-day drawing production for assigned projects, helping organize workload, priorities, and milestone deadlines.
  • Develop and document code strategies covering occupancy, building type, egress, accessibility, area and height limitations, and energy requirements.
  • Coordinate architectural documents with engineering and specialty consultants, identifying conflicts early and driving practical resolutions.
  • Prepare outline specifications and other technical project information for senior-level review.
  • Participate in owner and stakeholder meetings, communicate design options, and capture decisions for the project team.
  • Support projects during construction through RFI coordination, submittal review, field observations, closeout activities, and punch list documentation.
  • Contribute to milestone quality reviews by checking drawing completeness, coordination, and consistency before issuance.
Skill Set
  • 3 to 7 years of professional architecture experience following graduation.
  • Professional degree in architecture, substantial progress toward completing AXP, and active pursuit of architectural licensure through testing.
  • Able to independently use AutoCAD and Revit and produce complete construction document sets.
  • Working knowledge of building, accessibility, existing-building, and energy codes applicable to project delivery.
  • Experience coordinating architectural work with multidisciplinary consultants and internal project teams.
  • Strong ability to translate design direction into accurate plans, sections, details, schedules, and related project documentation.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, and colleagues.

  • Exposure to architectural specifications and construction-phase services is valued.
  • Organized, accountable, and comfortable balancing independent technical work with collaborative project responsibilities.
