Job summary

Stone Arch Services is seeking a Sr. Java developer for our client in the North Loop. You will lead design, development, integration and deployment of both vendor solutions and custom applications aligned with the client’s architecture.

You’ll work with technologies like Google Analytics/Tag Manager, WordPress, Adobe, AngularJS, AWS, and contribute to a team of about 100 employees with ~20 in IT; strong benefits include PTO, 6% 401(k) match plus 5% pension, free parking, and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Senior Java developer with lead responsibilities in designing, developing, integrating and deploying vendor solutions and custom applications.
• Experience with Google Analytics/Tag Manager, WordPress, Adobe, AngularJS, and AWS is desirable.
• Strong architectural vision and ability to align development with client architecture.

Job description

Stone Arch Services is looking for a strong Java web applications developer for our client in the North Loop. The office is in the warehouse district right next to Target Field in the heart of the action. The applications development manager comes from several years at Thomson Reuters as a Java architect, and has been a terrific guy to work with. Today there are approximately 100 employees. Twenty +/- employees are in IT. Our client focuses on financial planning and retirement plans for its target customer base of young and growing families. They focus heavily on social media as well as mobile/responsive design. Within the past 12 months, we have placed a Data Architect, a QA Automation manager, and a Dev Ops Engineer with our client and would love to speak with you about joining their team.
We need a Sr. Java developer open to adding additional current technologies to his/her experience. You would be responsible for taking an active lead in designing, developing, integrating and deploying both vendor solutions and custom applications in alignment with our clients overall architecture vision. They are utilizing technologies like Google analytics/tag manager, WordPress, Adobe, Angularjs, Amazon Web Services, etc.
