Job summary

CI&T is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to join a multicultural team spanning the USA, UK, Brazil, and Colombia. You will design and maintain high-quality back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server, while guiding junior developers and adopting new technologies.

You will build SOAP and REST APIs, ensure robust test coverage, and integrate diverse systems with proven design patterns. Excellent English and collaboration across time zones are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core in production systems.
• Deep knowledge of ADO.NET and SQL Server, and database design.
• Hands-on API development with SOAP and REST and XML data handling.
• Experience with applying software design patterns and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server
• Create and improve SOAP and REST APIs following best practices
• Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure reliability
• Find and fix problems in the code (root-cause analysis)
• Help integrate different systems and services using design patterns
• Review code and guide junior team members
• Learn new technologies and improve current solutions
• Work on CI/CD workflows to automate testing and deployment

We are hiring a Senior .NET Engineer to join our team and help build complex back-end software solutions. You will work with a multicultural team spread across Brazil, Colombia, the UK, and the USA. All communication will be in English.

As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will design solutions, help guide less experienced developers, and help the team adopt new technologies and best practices.

What You Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server
• Create and improve SOAP and REST APIs (following best practices and version standards)
• Write unit tests and integration tests to make sure services work correctly
• Find and fix problems in the code (root-cause analysis)
• Help integrate different systems and services together (using software design patterns)
• Review other developers' code and provide guidance to junior team members
• Learn about new technologies and find ways to improve our current solutions
• Work on CI/CD workflows (automated testing and deployment) to improve how the team works

What You Need to Know

• Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core in real production systems
• Deep knowledge of ADO.NET and SQL Server
• Experience with database design and making databases work faster
• Hands-on experience building SOAP and REST APIs
• Ability to work with XML (reading and writing XML data)
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and best practices
• Advanced English proficiency
• Ability to work well in multicultural, fast-paced teams
