Job summary

CI&T is seeking an Azure Cloud & Security Engineer to build, secure, and maintain cloud infrastructure that powers reliable, scalable, and production-ready applications.

You will own infrastructure as code using Bicep, manage Azure DevOps pipelines, and configure Azure Container Apps with autoscaling via KEDA, while enforcing security standards and OWASP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Bicep and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of deployment strategies and environment promotion (UAT to production).
• Experience with Azure Container Apps and container-based deployments.
• Experience implementing autoscaling using KEDA.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID authentication and identity integration.
• Understanding of cloud security principles and secure infrastructure configuration.
• Familiarity with OWASP security guidelines and secure deployment practices.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational troubleshooting.

We are looking for an Azure Cloud & Security Engineer to build, secure, and maintain cloud infrastructure that supports reliable, scalable, and production-ready applications.

In this role, you will take ownership of infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines, cloud security, and platform monitoring. Working closely with engineering and API management teams, you will help ensure secure deployments, efficient resource utilization, and reliable platform operations across environments.

Responsibilities

• - Own and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, ensuring infrastructure is consistent, reusable, and maintainable.
• - Develop and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including deployment promotion from UAT to production.
• - Configure and maintain Azure Container Apps environments, supporting reliable deployments and operational scalability.
• - Implement and optimize autoscaling strategies using KEDA to handle high-volume workloads efficiently.
• - Collaborate with the API Management (APIM) team to configure and integrate SoFiles storage with the platform.
• - Implement and maintain security controls, ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and OWASP guidelines.
• - Integrate Microsoft Entra ID to support secure authentication, identity management, and access control.
• - Establish and maintain platform monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure visibility into system health and performance.
• - Identify infrastructure, security, and deployment risks, implementing improvements to strengthen platform reliability.
• - Collaborate with development, security, and platform teams to promote cloud engineering best practices.

Requirements for this challenge

• - Strong experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• - Hands-on experience with Bicep and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• - Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• - Knowledge of deployment strategies and environment promotion, particularly from UAT to production.
• - Experience with Azure Container Apps and container-based application deployments.
• - Experience implementing autoscaling solutions, preferably using KEDA.
• - Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, including authentication, authorization, and identity integration.
• - Understanding of cloud security principles, access management, and secure infrastructure configuration.
• - Familiarity with OWASP security guidelines and secure application deployment practices.
• - Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational troubleshooting.
• - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams.

• - Experience integrating Azure storage solutions with API Management services.
• - Knowledge of Azure networking, secrets management, and managed identities.
• - Experience with security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and cloud security best practices.
• - Familiarity with high-availability architectures and autoscaling strategies for high-volume workloads.
• - Experience with infrastructure monitoring, incident investigation, and platform reliability improvements.
• - Relevant Azure certifications in cloud administration, security, or DevOps.
