JMH is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a part-time day shift in Monticello, GA. The RN will provide direct patient care, assess needs, implement plans, document care, and ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced hospital setting.
The role requires state licensure, BLS/ACLS (PALS preferred), and strong communication and teamwork. Weekend rotations and overtime may apply; the nurse will uphold confidentiality and participate in infection control and quality improvement activities.

The Registered Nurse (R.N.) is responsible for age appropriate assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluation of assigned patients, and assuring the planned care is delivered in a safe, economical and efficient manner following JMH’s Policies and Procedures. The R.N. is responsible for complying with State and Federal Rules and Regulations for Hospitals; as well as complying with standards of care and all accrediting and legal requirements.

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current valid R.N. Georgia license with no restrictions.
At least one year clinical experience preferred.
Current BLS certification is required.
ACLS certification is required within one year of employment.
PALS certification is preferred and strongly encouraged.
Freedom from illegal use of drugs and freedom from use and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Must be able to read, write and speak the English language fluently. Must be able to relate to individuals with various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Interpersonal Skills: Relates cooperatively and constructively with all patients, guests, families, physicians, peers, and all healthcare members as well as anyone that JHS’ employees interact with while performing their daily duties.
Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Full Ambulation and precise eye-hand coordination. Some basic computer skills are required.
Essential Mental Abilities: Knowledgeable and competent to perform essential functions. Must be able to deal with a variety of personalities with whom the employee comes into contact with, both pleasant and irate.
Essential Sensory Requirements: Ability to visually and audibly perform all essential functions.
Essential Physical Requirements: Moderate to high amount of walking, standing, sitting, reaching, pulling, pushing, stooping, and kneeling. Minimum lifting requirement of 50 pounds.
