Job summary

gategroup is hiring a Porter to help keep our facilities clean and safe near JFK International Airport in Nassau County. You will clean work areas, floors, walls, equipment, and transportation zones inside and outside the facility, supporting a smooth guest experience for our teams and customers.

You should be able to read and write forms, communicate with supervisors and teammates, and work a schedule that may include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write to complete required forms.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, vacuums and other cleaning tasks, as required.
• Empties trash within the building.
• Maintains sanitation in compliance with sanitation standards and corporate requirements.
• Follows directions and works as a team.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
