Job summary

David Yurman is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst in Lyndhurst, NJ to evaluate the first production run, review samples, and audit current production. You will lead the initial approval process, document QA SOPs, and liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance.

The role requires 4+ years of jewelry experience, strong attention to detail, and teamwork. Bachelor’s in a related field is preferred; in-office schedule with potential Saturday coverage.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of jewelry experience required.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing and inspection processes.
• Attention to detail for long- and short-term projects and defect inspection.
• Strong organizational and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• GIA or similar gemology certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial production approval process incl. evaluation of merchandise, docs, analysis, and communication of results.
• Develop and document SOPs for QA procedures across locations.
• Create Jewelry Inspection Guidelines.
• Perform XRF Analysis on incoming components and finished goods.
• Scan diamonds in first production goods.
• Research and resolve projects related to product/process defects.
• Collaborate with Repairs, Returns, Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Inventory.
• Audit in-process and finished goods with contractors/suppliers.
