Liberty Thrift in Souderton, PA is seeking a Multi Store Jewelry Product Specialist to manage donated items, price according to store standards, and merchandise shelves across multiple locations.

This part-time role requires knowledge of costume, high-end jewelry and watches, ability to lift, and teamwork with store staff. You will help ensure items are presented attractively and coordinated with supervisors on jewelry needs.

• During the pricing process, sort through the product and create bulk bags or dispose of items that do not meet standards.
• Present the items in an appealing way to customers, including cleaning or testing as needed.
• Coordinate with a supervisor weekly at three or more locations to determine jewelry needs.

JOB TITLE: Multi Store Jewelry Product Specialist

REPORTS TO: Store Manager/Production Manager

MISSION STATEMENT:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Multi Store Jewelry Product Specialist processes incoming jewelry donations for multiple store locations and merchandises the store shelves at home locations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Know and follow store organization.
• Know product for your department: Costume Jewelry, High End Jewelry, Watches
• Price product in your department according to Liberty Thrift standards for multiple Liberty Thrift stores.
• Price product according to style, quality, condition and brand name.
• Distinguish between high quality and lesser quality products and price accordingly.
• During the pricing process, sort through the product. If there is some that does not reach the standards for the store, create bulk bags or dispose of them properly.
• Present the items in a way that is appealing to the eye for customers to want to purchase. This means cleaning or testing items on an as needed basis.
• Partner with a supervisor, on a weekly basis, at three or more locations to determine jewelry needs for assigned locations. (price points, types of jewelry)
• Ensure that jewelry is ready to be shipped to other locations based on available transportation.
• Identifying jewelry that is deemed scrap and coordinating having it sold to a partnering jeweler.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, push, pull, and lift to 30-50 pounds and stand for an extended period of time.
• Must be able to communicate in English, including reading, writing and counting.
• Must be able to operate store equipment efficiently (price guns, taggers, tape dispensers, etc.)
• Must take direction well.
• Be neat in appearance and practice good personal hygiene.
• Must be in good physical and mental health, able to stand for long periods of time with emotional maturity and stability along with a sense of humor.
• Must be supportive of working for a Christian Ministry, accepting the Mission Statements of Liberty Thrift and Liberty Ministries.
• Must be willing and able to function in many capacities as needed.
• Must be able to work without supervision yet remain motivated and productive.
• Good organizational skills.
• Distinguish current styles, quality, condition, and prices for new merchandise found in the marketplace.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Jewelry merchandising experience.

Strong knowledge of gold and silver jewelry.
